In the interest of creating relaxed, quality time to talk about some of these larger issues we will be using the Planning Meeting March 11-13 at Peter and Qathy Lowe-Bloch’s in New London, NH. Some of the topics we would like to discuss are:
–continuing the ongoing discussion about welcoming all expressions of spirituality
—Families
ways to enhance our recruiting, training, fostering, supporting of facilitators
mentoring new facilitators
what is our current vision for Families?
—Newcomers Orientation
booklet? info on-line? pare down Program Book and move info to …….?
–enhancing after-9PM later evening community activities
what’s working? what’s not working? what do we want to add? how can we make the Blake evening community space more vibrant? more inviting?
If you would like to be part of any of these discussions, please come be with us for the weekend or for the day on Saturday. (You will be hearing from Peter and Qathy soon) If you cannot be there in person, I am happy to receive by email, print out and read your thoughts to the group OR we may be able to Skype you in for a focused part of a discussion you are particularly invested in. We DO want to hear from you AND all of these topics will be ongoing, so you will have other chances to give input.
Building Community is precious, and that is really what this weekend will be about.
