Gene Boehne died on Wednesday February 7, 2018 just five days shy of his 81st birthday. He lived a full life. He was a poet, a dreamer, a great dad (and a second Dad to many), a loving husband, a doting grandfather (“but just call me something fun, like Geno-Beano!”), an amazing brother and friend, a social worker, a veteran, and a builder of houses and communities. He loved Northfield and the community that it provides. He was so loved and he will be missed.
