Welcome to the 2018 Northfield Conference!
June 22 to June 28
We look forward to spending our week with you exploring the theme of “MERAKI”. A modern Greek word referring to “putting one’s whole-hearted loving self into all that we do.”
It is pronounced “MAY – RAKI.”
We are planning a week with everyone, where we will hopefully, keep our MERAKI Theme available to us, even with the very little simple things we engage in all week.
One of the meanings of our theme is to “Embody Meraki so it becomes second nature in how we put ourselves into the world, even in the simplest of interactions.”
On Tuesday, when we do “MERAKI DAY,” we will all have a chance to be spontaneous and offer our passions to share with others.
We feel strongly that this theme will resonate within us all, in a way that will bubble up a new awareness in our loving hearts. Then we can take this awareness home to our worlds and
generate great waves of MERAKI for all around us.
