In Memoriam

Northfield has been built, developed and nourished by many dedicated volunteers into the beautiful community that we experience today.

In loving memory of those who have passed before us, we offer this opportunity to get to know these dedicated members.

To them, we offer this song by our beloved Steve Schuch

River Round the Bend
2015 Steve Schuch / Night Heron Music (ASCAP)

We are the river, on a journey through the years
We are the laughter, the sorrows and the tears
From brooks and byways… the waters now have grown
Guide us on our way, lead us home

River round the bend, guide us till the end
River round the bend, lead us home

We are the stories, the ones that come with us to dwell
We are the music, every song we’ve loved so well
The hopes we share… the love of every friend we’ve known
Guide us on our way, lead us home

River round the bend, guide us till the end
River round the bend, lead us home

We are forgiveness, the light that falls from heaven’s gate
We seek the healing for scars so long encased
Grant us the courage… the grace that can atone
Guide us on our way, lead us home

River round the bend, guide us till the end
River round the bend, lead us home

A prayer for peace, a prayer to open up our eyes
A time to wake, a time to realize
A still small voice… says we are not alone
Guide us on our way, lead us home

River round the bend, guide us till the end
River round the bend, lead us home
River round the bend, lead us home
